Ancient Greek theatre was focused on gods. Mainly Dionysus, who was the god of sexuality, agriculture, wine, and fertility. The religious scenes were common, and based on betrayal, lust, murder, ethics, social behavior, and war themes. Often times, plays had a considerable amount of violence. Then, Comedy and Tragedy masks were introduced. Tragedy actors wore goatskin. The best actors got kid goats as rewards.
